Launching our new ‘Get Wrapped Up In The Moment’ brand positioning, the film tells the story of three close friends preparing their garden for a big leaving party later that evening. However, as one of them glimpses the BON VOYAGE balloons, the magnitude of the occasion, and realisation that this might be the last time it’s just the three of them, dawns on them. In this small but poignant moment, they decide to not wait for the party and instead mark the moment by digging into the pyramid of Ferrero Rocher that they’ve spent all day making.
Wanting to capture authentic, genuine moments between friends, and to get some of the real ‘golden magic’ that Ferrero Rocher is so famous for, the entire spot was filmed exclusively at golden hour.
This not only gave the spot a beautiful natural, golden light, but ensured that there wasn’t endless retakes or long setups – which ensured that all of the moments were real, unrehearsed and genuine.
The campaign will continue to roll throughout the year across OOH, socials and experiential – with a series of executions that encourage people to get wrapped up in the small but special occasions that occur everyday.
