BetVictor’s Million Pound Goal

Are we over the moon that Million Pound Goal has been awarded the Best Sportsbook Marketing trophy at the ERG Operator Innovation & Marketing Awards 2017, celebrating excellence in the online gaming world?

You bet.

Our campaign for bookmaker BetVictor, which encouraged football fans to own all goals in the Euro 2016 tournament, played across TV, OOH, print, radio and digital.

Mr President asked legendary sports commentator Barry Davies to do the voiceover and cult director and animator, Richard Swarbrick, to celebrate not just the great goals, but all the goals, with the philosophy ‘it’s not how it’s scored, it’s when and by whom’.

The Million Pound Goal itself was the prize offered to the lucky bettor who successfully predicted the tournament final’s first goal scorer and the minute they scored it.
