Mr. President Honours the Patrons of Pride

Here at Mr. President we celebrate diversity in all its forms. We don’t care about your gender or sexuality, we think you’re awesome.

This year’s Pride in London marks 45 years since the first official UK Gay Pride Rally was held in London, in 1972.  This almost-half-century made us think about what Pride means to us all here at Mr. President – as an agency, as colleagues and as the members, relatives, friends and advocates of LGBT communities across the globe.

Together we talked, laughed, debated and swapped stories before creating our Patrons of Pride campaign honouring four incredible people from the LGBT communities (one from each) – Ellen DeGeneres; George Michael; Nicola Adams and Laverne Cox.

It wasn’t easy settling for just four. But we chose these inspirational icons because they symbolised tolerance, love and acceptance, and we are celebrating each one in a bold illustration in the style of a stained-glass window.

You can see the images on our window overlooking Soho Square, one of the official locations of Pride in London on Saturday 8 July (we’ll also have free Wi-Fi you can use on the day).
