Our friends at Naked Wines asked us to bring our new brand positioning to life with a photography shoot for two of their key markets; Australia & New Zealand. The images needed to be authentic, celebrating the independent winemakers behind the bottles and taken in their own vineyards. Quite the challenge in lockdown… but we took it on, even though we were a world away.
Our shoot day started at 10.30pm London time and our laptops became mission control. We crafted styles, sets and shots by zoom, reviewed images in Google Docs then pinged Whatsapp messages between hemispheres as we fed back on each winemaker portrait and group shot. We had a confusing 3am lunch break (what do you eat at 3am… cereal?) and we were ready for a bleary eyed sign off with a very happy client and glass of wine to celebrate the wrap) at 8am.
