The Weekly Address #17

Pals, Pasta, and Parking

We’re back for a jam packed four day week after a refreshing four day weekend. We hope you had a fantastic Easter break people. Now, join us in kicking off this week with inspiring creativity. Let’s go!

Creative magic number 1. We were going to save this for next week – the long awaited “phase two” on everyone’s favourite roadmap – but we just couldn’t hold it in. So here’s a beautiful celebration of togetherness (starring beer) to help you look forward to socialising in more places than parks and gardens. Bottom’s up:

How do you like your ice? Bet that’s a question you never expect to hear at a bar. Well, Japanese whisky maker Suntory has given ‘on the rocks’ a whole new meaning, with ice sculpted to look like iconic shapes – from The Sphinx, to Zen temples, and even Batman. Regular ice cubes just won’t cut it anymore. See the whole collection here.

If you’re looking for a substantial meal to go with your social beverages, a new shape of pasta’s just dropped. That’s right. Who knew that could happen? Turns out it’s a pretty difficult thing to do. Either way, it’s pretty amazing. Say hello to the tasty looking ‘Cascatelli’. Read the story of it’s invention right here.

Last but not least, an example of incredible storytelling used to illustrate a product feature. We’re not going to ruin it for you. Although, we will say that if you’ve ever had your suspicions about the car valet process, this film is probably all those thoughts brought to life. It’s awesome.

That’s all for this week people. Catch you in a beer garden somewhere next time. Stay safe.
