Hello friends and fellow lovers of creativity. We’ve got a lot going on right now, but there’s always enough time for another Weekly Address. As usual, take a moment and enjoy the selection, before diving back into work.
The first one’s pretty neat. It’s a mind-bending journey of sound and vision to introduce Fender’s new “game-changing” guitar, The Acoustasonic Jazzmaster. The ad showcases the guitar’s sonic capabilities as well as it’s impeccable design and craftsmanship. It’s also just such a lovely video to watch.
Next, a card that saves lives. By the time this card expires, many critically endangered species may go extinct. In an effort to help Conservation International, Mastercard has released these ‘Wildlife Impact’ gift cards in the US for all who care. Such a smart idea.
Why scan QR codes when you can scan rainbows? This Pride month, H&M is on a mission to reclaim and recharge rainbows with “deep meaning”. You can scan almost any rainbow, anywhere to gain access to heartfelt messages from both well-known figures and regular people across the LGBTQIA+ community. That’s awesome.
Lastly, probably the weirdest music video we’ve come across in a while, but we still can’t help but love it. “Treat You Right” by The Jungle Giants is a story of personal growth like you’ve never seen before. We’re still not too sure what to make of the whole thing but it’s almost like a “we had to watch it so now you have to watch it” kinda thing. It has a positive ending though, we think.
